Uh, why would you want to make a heavy warrior? Why not just put you wolverine back to stock, trade it for a warrior, then put all the parts on it.

Because I like all sorts of riding, the options the wolverine has to offer are endless. Plus I like heavy warriors.

I know alot of people would say just buy the highlifter kit but I hear that setup is low quality & I feel if your going to make a quad 2wd might as well make it alittle lighter, just extra effort everytime you change your mind.

Remove your front driveshaft or remove the axles between the diff. and the wheel hubs.

Does anyone know how to remove the axles that are connected to the wheel hubs. I removed the rubber boot that seperates the two & it seems as if they should pop right out but they aint coming.

Look for any clips or other type of retaining device that is holding one of the U-joint's together. Once you get one U joint taken apart, it should slide right off. I am not familiar with the wolverine, so I can't go into great detail.

There should be a snap ring, wipe off grease and you'll see it. Why not just leave the 4x4 and get an unlocker just in case you need it.

Well if your really wanting a true 2wd wolverine, you discontect the the front drive shaft by pushing forward on it and compressing the spring and wiggle the u-joint coming out of the engine. If you want it to be true unbolt the front differential and take it out after you find out how to take the front axles out and run it, really im not too sure if you can. If you can, just take the front driveshaft out like i said above and take the u-joints off so they wont spin and tear something up. I am really not sure you can do this taking the whole front diff. out. Im gonna be thinking about that for a long time now untill i get a chance to look at it. Oh well good luck, if you have a manual to go by to help you tear it down then you shouldnt be able to mess it up too bad.

the upper joint at the differential comes apart. the lower joint at the knuckle presents the problem. it can't be non-destructively taken apart. meaning that if you decide to go back to 4wd , you'll have to come up with new front axle assy's.
