Just a heads up if you go to replace your stator. Inside the flywheel side cover, where your stator is, is a clamp that holds the wire from the stator off of the fly wheel. The clamp is bolted into the aluminum cover with two of those little 8mm bolts. Get ready for them to break off. I don't know why but they had lock tight on mine and they never even made a full turn just snap. If you can take the wire out from under the clamp by bending it I would try that before unbolting the clamp. I wish I would have thought to do that first.

desracers,
You can upgrade the Raptor stator to give you about 200 watts of lighting. The stock Raptor will push 140 watts max of light (130 watts to be on the safe side).
TrailTech will soon release some HID lamps in the same type of configuration as their current lights. With the HID's you can save your money on the stator as the HID's only draw 1/3 the power. You can run two HID's and two of their 50's on the stock stator. The light output with this setup is stadium quality.
