Default Raptor upgrades?

4bsolute,

Let's make this easy. If I were from Russia, this is how I'd do it.

Make arrangements to take 10 days off from work from Jan 10-20th 2003. Order a Raptor from Alba Action Sports; piped, jetted, K&N filter and whatever else you want on it. The bike will cost $6500 with the pipe, filter and prejetted. No jetting hassles, no sales tax or reg. since you're definitely from out of state.

Fly into San Diego on Fri., 10 Jan 2003 and pick it up. Go to Glamis (140mi away) and learn to ride it on some of the nicest dunes in the world for a week. At the end of the week your bike will be broken in, you'll be very comfortable on it and Glamis (and Comp) will be your "home turf".

On Jan 18-19, Sat and Sun, will be 4 Stroke Wars, definitely an event you won't want to miss!. You'll have a great time, get to meet a lot of nice people (NO! REALLY!) and will have gotten a great price on a great quad and ridden it on some awesome dunes for 9 of the best days of your life. I'll teach you the finer points of sipping Patron (Tequila), you can teach me how to drink Vodka.

Ship the quad back home from San Diego on Mon., Jan 20th and you're home. Definitely a great story to tell the grandkids someday.

DISCLAIMER: I have no affiliation with nor do I endorse Alba Action Sports, I merely mention it as a place to get a quad already outfitted for a set price in fairly close proximity to Glamis. I do however, endorse international goodwill and dune riding whenever possible, followed by excellent booze and lying er, uh... storytelling around the campfire.
