i rode a predator today
#1
my buddie got his and we took it out today.we also took 3 raptors,a banshee and a z400. to start with the handeling is better than anything ive ever ridin.very impresive,i didnt feel any bumpsteer at all.the suspension was very good also,we softened it up a bit because it was pretty stiff to start with.power wise it was better than i exspected.it ran very well.overall i think polaris did a great job.the only weird thing i noticed is when you sit on it the seat slopes toward the tank and you end up close to the tank.for agressive riding i found it to work great.but for putting around you almost have to force yourself to sit back on it.after riding it awhile i dont think it would bother you.we did have one problem with it,after rding quite awhile we noticed the fuel pump was hangging down.the screws that hold it on were broke off.we couldnt decide if it happened while riding or if it was that way when he picked it up.
allright now for the dragg results.the track was snow covered with spots of bare ground, the start had bare spots to launch and that was about it.my 727 got beat almost every time,by everything but the banshee, due to NO TRACTION.were going to have to wait to see how good it does run but i ran the z400 three times against it and it seemed to pull it every time on the big end.the polaris seems to like to be reved and makes good top end power, the motor is very smooth.its very simaler to the z400 in power delivery,it just seems to have more on the big end.
