well i thought my bike is bad untill i went to glamis ,(I have a little work to do)but take your butt too 4 stroke wars and your attitude will change real quick,better have a little more than a stock predator...That's from experience..

Snarfblat, you guys get a chance too run on the flat? How does the predator gearing seem compared too the Raptor? Thanks for the info.

 

Landrieu is a liberal butt whipe, I voted Terrel, who I also do not like, lesser of two evils. Really pissed me off when I saw her win.
As for Preds, no way its going to touch a raptor, just pretend its a heavy 400ex with a lil more engine.

 

Why wouldn't the Preditor win a drag race against a stock Raptor? Doesn't the Preditor have high comp piston etc already installed? The Z400 does and it's not to far behind the Rap. This is a 500cc motor, If it does have the piston etc I could see it being the winner in a drag. I mean the stock raptor is detuned badly.

 

I've raced a piped and jetted raptor with my Predator multiple times and never had a problem beating it. 4-5 bike lengths was the average distance. Raptor owners will be unhappy with the performance gap of a stock predator compared to their modified raptor. I think the next shootout should quiet the raptor owners a bit. I honestly do think there is more head room for power in the Raptor motor, but it takes big bucks to get it. $5999 spent on a Pred will get you much more bang for the buck overall.

I rode one the other day and was not impressed with the power or seat. The suspension felt really stable though. I can't wait to see one out at the local ride spot![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] My impression of the machine is that just like the Raptor it is not for EVERYBODY, but it will have it's own following! XR

 

thumper400e,if you beat a piped/jetted/airbox modded raptor by 4-5 lengths either the guy didnt now how to tune or ride.the predator has a stong motor in stock trim but it is not that fast.sunday were going out and ill let everyone know some actual result between the predator,a stock raptor,piped,jetted,modded airbox raptor,my 727,and a piped banshee,maybe a stock z400 there as well.as soon as the pipe,filter ect.show up ill have some results on that as well.we run aprox 300ft on dirt. you predator guys have a very nice machine from the seat time ive had on one,and the handeling is better than anything ive rode.i agree with others that sitting on the predator it seems weird but when i rode it it felt like i was were i needed to be to get the most out of it.i do think it will be the new "SHOOTOUT" king for what its worth.imop it deserves the title. will it ever be a bigbore raptor eater?NO!
