I'm on satellite, (I really live in the sticks) and it is a dramatic difference. I would say, please, please keep it!
As far as satellite internet service goes, Starband is pretty okay if you can't get DSL, but don't get it through Dish network or Echostar, get it directly from Starband, service is better and it is only $39/month compared to Dish which charges $74 for the same thing!

 

Its not a HUGE differance for me, I am on a cable connection, but it is big enough I can tell a good bit. I will log in later with dial up just to see. Good technology what ever it is.

 

I'm on cable and I can say there's a SIGNIFICANT improvement in page load/rendering speed. It used to take several SECONDS for a page to finish loading and render, but now it's nearly instantaneous.

I dunno what this new "technology" is that you're using, but I sure like it!! Does it do anything with how the Cold Fusion server works?? I'm very curious.

A 9 for sure! I'm on a 512k DSL connection and the images load alot faster. A huge difference.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

i am on dial up. it is definitely faster. on a dial up you notice such things [yawn]

a 9,everytime i got on here before id go get a snack between loading pages now its almost instant

 

Good job there, dbeck......the new software does work! It's like going from a dial up line to cable modem or DSL!!!!
I would rate the proir speed before the new software a 3
Now I would rate the speed now a 10!!!!

I was on Friday and griping about how slow it was, and Saturday I was amazed how quickly the pages loaded...... I thought there was something wrong with my computer. LOL!

 

It seems even faster now than it did late yesterday night.

Im on cable and I can also tell a difference in page loads. Let me know what proggy it is...ill crack it hehee
