03 Raptor Grab Bar
#1
Just got my Raptor 2 weeks ago, scratched up the bar on a 1st gear wheely on pavement no big deal right. Saturday i I was riding with my brother on grass, another wheely too much gas on on the grab bar i went. Bent the bar all of the way to the plastic no damage really aside from the bar itself. I've put my brothers warrior on the bar several times has even bent a little. Anyone out there experienced this?

yes, It is common knowlege that the rear grab bar is complete junk. I did the same thing. Second time "back on the bar" It bent all the way up. I have a D&G rear grab now. I think the sub frame would bend before that thing does.

but isnt it a bad thing if the grab bar is so strong that the impact transfers to the subframe and makes that bend?
i thought the point of bumbers and grab bars and stuff was to absorb the shock and prevent it from transfering to the expensive valuable parts. Dont know...maybe im just lookin at it wrong. Thanks, happy holidays

I guess it better than bending the frame but I hopped off so it was not even my weight that bent the grab bar only the bike. Like i said before my brother's warrior is ox strong not even bent slightly and it weighs about the same as the Raptor.I guess mine is super weak, maybe i will get that DG they look good and strong. Thanx
