Beartracker won't do 47mph. Sorry. Ask around or search the web and you'll find the 250cc shootout where the Beartracker comes in dead last in top speed.......far from 47

My bear tracker toped out at 45 stock and 47 with my bro-in-law on it. That is against my griz that has been checked against my GPS. Your just wrong. After the mods, my nefew was following me on my griz and said that he was maintaining 48 to 50 to keep up with me. Plus, I am running 23" tires in the rear instead of 22". That would give it a very slight amount more speed for a given rpm.

It didn't say nothing about top speed though! He wants to know only about top speed nothing else.

A friend of mine has a bear tracker ('02, I think) and we were both going all out on a highway this weekend and we were neck and neck. The speedometer on my '04 Foreman showed 47-48.

Before the mods, it wouldn't pull me up a hill in 2nd gear. Now it will accellerate up a hill in 2nd and I can shift into third while in the power band and accellerate some more.
If you dont mind me asking, where did you get the Uni-Vents?

EDIT*** Nevermind I found them. Thanks anyway.

I also read somewhere that the beartracker is a fairly slow (compared to other quads in its class), but I think its top speed would be about 45-50mph.
