Ignant is redneck for ignorant. They actually got my parts here a day ahead of time!, just they dropped them off at some little ol lady down the streets house. Oh well, just hope my engine comes to the right house. BTW, my bumper said "Ground Pork" "keep refrigerated" so the lil ol lady tried to stick it in her fridge to save it for us.

UPS coming through for yall?

JakalWarrior,

I guess the little old lady signed for your parts. Around here UPS will not drop off to just anyone.

Around here if the parts are already paid for, nobody needs to sign. They drop the package on the porch and peel off!

mascman,

They wouldn't do that here or I hope not.

Surly UPS wouldn't leave a new computer system that was prepaid for on the porch.

Someone I think would have to sign and I wouldn't think they would leave a $2,000 dollar computer system with the little old lady either.

Down here they just throw it on my porch and leave. I havent been asked to sign for anything in years. I think there is a check box if you want the other person to have to sign for it and companies by default dont check it unless you ask them to. We are STILL trying to build our house (kinda picked up a second use as a shop so were in no hurry) so when its raining they just set it on the slab, it has a roof but only one wall (all the support is made from very HEAVY steel and huge I-beams, my dad is an iron worker and has like 30 years of stored up leftover steel he is using to build our house with, no wood)

My driver's cool, he just tosses my stuff in the bushes. When I am expecting a package, I know right where to look.

man i love santa in the big brown van. if it has my name on the package it goes in the garage. if it's the wifes, it's on the porch. he loves to ride quads, so we talk while he runs. he told me that he works anywhere from 12-14 hour days before Christmas. can't say nothing bad about them. now fed ex, that's a different story. i live in a city and they sent me a card saying they couldn't find my address. i had to call them to give directions. don't they have access to the web? to get directions?

I worked for UPS as a temp many years ago while in college. Deliveries can go either way, some can just be left on porch while some must be signed for, it all depends on how the shipper and/or reciever wanted it delivered. One thing for sure is that those UPS guys dont know what FRAGILE means, as I saw everything get thrown around just the same
