Hey all.

Today I rode an 03 Banshee. I liked it very much, but not as much as my Raptor. But anywho my question is, how come the suspension takes bumps a lot better on a banshee? How can I make my Raptor take bumbs a lot better so I dont fly around. Should I go with aftermarket shocks?

Thanks, Ryan

well i just got my shee, and i way about 140 so it doesn't take the bumps to well. i need to adjust mine, but i'm guessing if you have tried to adjust the stock ones, your gonna need new shocks. also if you have alot of air in your tires it may be more bumpy. hope this helps

Are you running stock tires or aftermarket? I noticed a big difference when I switched to Holeshots. The ride was rougher until I found out the dealer I had mount them put about 12 p.s.i. in the tires. I dropped it back down to 4 lbs. and added Works shocks and now it skips thru whoops ALMOST as good as a dirt bike. Give new shocks a try!! Good Luck!!!

What kind of shocks did you get? And I have stock tires, what do you think the best PSI should be...

Thanks

Banshee smoother than raptor? Uhm, nope.

maybe you need to adjust your stock shocks...5 psi should be fine for the tires.

The only complaint i have about banshee's is the suspension...unless you add aftermarket shocks or a steering stabilizer to a banshee theres no-way it's going to take bumps smoother. unless your rap suspension is not dialed in properly.
