Thanks, what cam did you have istalled, if you don't mind me asking.
As for the mains 145-150 is what Alba reccomended when I bought their pipe and filter. Had nothing else done to the quad. Seems a bit low to me. I think I'd feel more comfortable with at least 150-155. Might be worth discussing with your mechanic anyway. jmo

WSHRDSKIN- as to your question about what cam im am running it is the stock one .i am sure some of you might not agree with running the stock cam but with the gains i got i think it was the right way to go.the guy who does the work on my quads is very concerned about building a motor that is strong without sacrificing reliability so going with the stock cam was part of the plan to get as much of a HP gain as possible while using stock parts when possible.i am sure this quad may not be quite as fast as some of the others i read about on this forum but i am as concerned with longevity as much as overall horsepower gains.

Thanks,
I have no problems with you running the stock cam. I have concerns in that area as well and my engine mods are done with the exception of porting my head one day.

some of you have said that you thought that 145-150 jets would be too lean but if it makes a difference they are mikuni jets .just thought i would mention that fact. .i took the plug out today after my second ride and it is a perfect coffee color at least that is the color that i was always told to look for.this setup has not hesitated or backfired once so i think it is dialed in at least very close to where it should be.
