Raptor trouble
#1
the first 8 inches of my header is glowing bright red and the oil is very thin (dripping off dipstick like water) smells a little burnt and possibly has gas in it. I rode it all day like that and it ran perfect. I didnt notice the red hot header until dark. I startred it up and it took less than 5 minutes at idle to get that hot, the motor wasn't overly hot though. I change my oil and filter before every trip to glamis and have a yoshimura header and pipe, KandN filter, and 146 or 148 kandN main jet. The last trip out when i turned off my bike gas would leak out the bottom hose of the carb until i turned the gas to off position, I dont know if that could be related to this though because this trip it didnt happen at all.
Does anyone have any ideas on whats wrong with my raptor?

It's normal for the header to glow if it's sitting and idling for a bit. Could be you need to richen your idle mixture a tad. The fuel out of the overflow might have been the needle valve not seating good possibly a little crud on it. Might want to check your float level.
