Default Warrior Noise

Hey all,
Recently my ride has started making a very serious CLUNK just when I shut her off. Coming from the shifter side. I've read something about a bearing in the starter??? going bad and making this noise?

It also has started making some poping noises from near the output shaft during engine breaking down hills. Seems to lessen the longer I ride it. Maybe just not paying as much attention to it. ??

Thanks for any experiences in advance.

Same for me too. Its not super loud but its an audible clunk, sounds kinda like whatever does all the knocking while im ridding comes to a sudden stop. BTW, my engine is open now and there is no play in the rod.
