Default I need some Ice Racing tips!

I plan on puttin about a ga-jillion studs in my shredders (about 300 or so each tire) and then 200-250 each tire in the front. My friend Aaron is just going to borrow me some old short shocks from a dirtbike. They will lower the front end cause they are shorter than stockers. Im going to buy a dura blue rear lowering strut for the rear. I may get short valve stems and flip the front rims if I need to. The track has a hr and 1/2 pratice before the race, so that should give me some time to get used to the track and find good lines.

thanks for the help guys! Its VERY appreciated.

Im pretty sure its an oval, but it doesnt matter either way to me. Just thinking about it makes my heart race, and thats all Im in it for! I hope to atleast pull top 10, but no gurantees. I am pretty good on a quad and hope to kick some ***. The quad was a former 6 time national ice race champ with Joe Plochel racing it. I got it from him this past spring and its still strong as hell! The only thing Im worried about is something stupid coming loose or chain popping off.

I used to ice race a little when i lived in upper New Jersey on my blaster. If i remember correctly alot of guys had swaybars on their bikes. When i raced i just had a pair of holeshots with studs on my stock blaster. LOL

I dont race but do ride lakes, dont put tomany studs in the rear or youll flip like I did on my shee, I have shredders and had about 270 studs a tire and I couldnt slide around the corner the slightest bit and I rolled over!
