Wshrdskin, how do you like the new '02 gearing, what sized sprockets are you using?

 

I like the 02 gearing alot. I run in a higher gear up the hills now. ie 2nd before now becomes 3rd etc. This may have something to do with the piston and cam as much as the gearing. I was running 12/42, that setup works well at comp hill Dumont dunes. I'm going to go to 12/41 out of nessessity more than anything cause my 42 tooth bit the dust this last weekend, I have a hardly used 41 that I'm going to slap on there. I'll be going to Glamis for 4stroke wars and we'll see how that gearing works out. I have a 13 for the front and the 40 for the back to try as well. Once I find the happy medium for the hills and general dune riding I'll buy a new chain and the sprockets of choice then. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
