How are you going to keep sand and rocks from blasting the gold off? If it was Mine I would never ride it, just keep it as a show piece. Have a spare rappy with same engine work for riding. What about plastic shrink wrap though? like have it laminated then trim off the edges. Should keep it shiny and rideable.

It's all in the eye of the beholder, if he likes to dip all his parts in gold, more power to him. I spend all my quad allowance on HP and some might think that's a waste.

Can't wait to see your finished product.

Hey guys,
Just to ease your minds I will not be riding this new quad much and DEFINITLY not in the woods or dirt so there goes the idea of " riding behind me picking up gold."
I do have another Rappy with motor mods and about the same equipment on it for race and play.
It was fetured in 2001 September Dirt Wheels.
It was also used in Maxxis ads in all the other mags this year for their sand tires.
The whole big picture will be a 727 running on oyher than reg fuel probably meth or alchol with NOS.
This is in the works now. I am currently getting the case halves polished out and the new Samco gears for it.
You talk about a waste of money!!!!!!!!!
Where does a guy stop when he goes this far?
The way I see it is stopping now is going only half way.
If you read the side of my quads you will read OUTTACONTROL.
To really make you all think, I will tell you all what I built these quads for and really make you scratch your heads.

"STAY TUNED"

When it comes to spending money, it seems like people are offended if someone spends alot on something. Typically it comes from people who don't have any money. I dig what Turbo is doing and more power to him for having an extreme level of fun in his sport!

You won't see me hating those guys with the $500,000 Prevost motorhome, color matched 32 foot enclosed trailer, helicopter and $80,000 long travel buggy at the dunes, eventhough I will never have that. I am glad there are people in America who can afford stuff like that and excited that opportunity abounds in life here in the good old USA!
AMEN KING, I agree totally.
I do have to somewhat see the point of view of others also.
If you are working a normal job where you don't see the big bucks, 500.00 seems like a lot of spread.
It seems to me the more you make the more you spend.
I remember when I use to buy Coke instesd of Pepsi because Coke was cheeper.
I have worked hard for what I have and believe it or not I really watch my cash flo in other areas to make sure I have the play cash.
In a nut shell I haven't allways had money, I surendered my life to the Lord 10 years ago and he has blessed me abundantly. I can't explain how it all works but it sure is better than getting sent collection notices and spending money on bail instead of all the ministry stuff I do with my quads.
I know when I go and share with a bunch of youth kids about my past and how the Lord has changed my life they sure get excited, not to mention when I let them ride the thing.

I believe your top 5 win out does my National Championship. I know the vet classes in TT are very hard to place in.
