Default What piston brand?

I need to rebuild a blaster. I was wondering if certain brands are inferior. A company advertising on ebay sells complete WSM kits for cheap. Is this brand any good? Recommedatoins?

Gary, thanks for the reply. What is the reason for going OEM piston?

Longevity and reliability......a stock replacement piston from your local dealer will last as long inside the cylinder as any other high quality piston available....of course, asuming the bore was set-up correct in the first place with the proper clearances. Only drawback is you can't up the compression on an OE piston. How many hours do you have on the blaster that needs rebuilt?

If you decide to go with an aftermarket piston, do yourself a favor and go with a JE like Gary mentioned!

WSM pistons are basically identical to stock I love them they last twice as lond as Forged pistons.
Why stock pistons are so reliable is because they are cast and they have the natural ability to hold oil where a forged piston doesn't causing less cylinder and ring wear making for a very quiet running long lasting 2 stroke. that's why every manufacture that produces a 2 stroke engine puts a cast piston in it stock. Yes the JE piston would be indestructable but in a stock engien it would be worthless and you would have to tear your engine down every 30hrs, WSM are cast I have ran myn for 4 years still with good compression. I had a forged piston and the compression dropped after a year and I was forced to rubuild. Does JE even make 2 stroke pistons?
