My personal thought is that FMF rushed the pipe to market without testing it. It's basically a 400EX pipe adapted to a Raptor fitment - Raptors are much more violent as far as heat/vibe.
I'll never buy FMF again !

RSO660R,
Thats even better - AMERICAN MADE ! I doesnt surprise me that the assembly / mfg is farmed out. As long as it's a good design, good workmanship, and good materials are used, it's a good product. It's no surprise that there is a major US component to Yosh, the tech service and other phone numbers are out of CA, I believe they call themselves Yoshimura R&D.
So far I'm very satisfied.
By the way, what is the name if the facility in Bend ?

Ya, I have an FMF Hi-Flo header pipe and I'm not impressed at all. The material and workmanship is VERY cheap! It leaks and doesn't fit together right and its an ugly brownish gold out of the box. I'm replacing it with a White Brothers Titanium works headpipe. I've always been impressed with WB's quality and workmenship.
