and i start trying to take the head off. I get one off without any problem, and start trying to get the opposite side loose. It is really really hard, and it starts coming a little bit, but it is squeaking and I think I might be pulling out the engine stud that holds it on. What should I do to prevent this from happening, or what will happen if they do come out? Do they just go right back in, or what?
Thanks for all the help,
Josh

They are screw in type. Once it comes out, it will be hard to get that nut off, so you will need to buy a new stud and nut. Some lock-tite should hold the new stud in just fine. Also refering to a service manual might help too.

Okay, but I learned that I have to take it into the shop, to break the case. How much should this cost? and does it have to be put back on by them, or can I do it? I want to do all the other work to it, but I may just have them do the work that I want done, which would be a High compression piston, and maybe a new carb, if I cant do it myself.
Thanks for any help
