Default Cleaning the quad

02RAPTORLE a: longer ac oil filter is better, disposable and more filtering suface area inside the filter. b: dont overfill any machine! it causes too much presure and can push oil past the rings forcefully. now....... back to cleaning. ive used castrol superclean for 5-6 years now. USER BEWARE,, that shiot is strong when concentrated. i use it on lots of cars, wheels and engines.... it works great. on plastic, i wouldnt use it full strength or it'll dull the finish. superclean will eat your hands alive if you let it stay on em a while. your hands could be goo-y 3 hrs later after use. hahaha. its great to use on wheels if you rinse off after you make it around the item your washing. i use it straight on engines and wheels. it gets EVERYTHING! also washed a white car with a little in the wash bucket for a killer white, but had to wax immediately after. do not put superclean on any color painted surface except black, you'll see exactly where every drop of that stuff hit. im also putting my vote in for lemon fresh pledge. cars, atv's .... it works great also.

Mud, we see it maybe a week out of a year here. Usually a car wash solution and some diluted simple green on the tires and rims/engine. I dry mine off with a Stihl BR400 yard blower, knocks the water right out of those hiding places where it wil normally lay for a while possibly causing corosion.

Well it's winter, that means its cold, that means the closest thing to me washing it till it gets warmer is when I accidently pee on the rip cause my hands are so cold from riding in the snow. but the rest of the time I use ivory soap and a variety of brushes and spunges. then armorall and windex

2001 Wolverine ( lots of mods)

always wash your quads with either a good floor wax(mop & glo, pine sol, etc.) or a good car wash such as Meg's Gold Class or Eagle One or Mother's as they are formulated for painted and plastic finishes...you can pretreat with a degreaser (mixed to proper levels or aerosol type) for an extra tough job...it is a good idea to blow off the remaining water with a compressor or a leaf blower and then slather the engine and all metal parts and underside of fenders with WD40 or the like...you can then top off the plastic(topsides) with either a spray shine product or pledge and a terry towel(100% cotton or preferrably micro fibre)and believe me your quad will blind you!!! I do professional detailing on the side

I would use WD40 on everything except the plastic. My uncle has a banshee and he does the WD40 thing and it's 2 years old the plastic is starting to rot and dry out. When the sun hits the WD40 it soaks into your plastic and fades it. I would use TurtleWax formula 2001 on my plastic. WD40 might eat paint on your frame overtime.

What about using Turtle Wax zip wax car wash to wash it and Honda Pro spray cleaner/ polisher to shine and wax it? Anyone used this on their quads?
