hey guys/gals i was interested in the z but im a power junky and i though it would be easiler to just mod out a banshee than anything else. i was wondering if you could help me set up a banshee please. i ride in wood trails, logging roads and open fields. i want strong motor from low to top end( i know thats not all possible so im more interested in mid to top end) i dont want to have to send my motor off anywhere to get it bored. ok well give me some suggestions on how to get the most out of my motor without having to send it off. thanks
oh and also, does anyone have a diagram on how to weld the cranks. thanks again

2 things to start out with--
1ipes-any pipe wll make your bike haul - i would go with toomey's or fmf's- i love my cpi's but they suck when you gotta change plugs
2:reeds- only one name to remeber here- v-force
that will give you quite a noticeable increase and then you can port it later on down the road. asfar as not wanting to send it out, start shopping around in richmond to see if anyone has ported a banshee before. i am really reluctant to have mine ported by someone who has never ported a banshee before.
good luck and remember--
rubber side down(i have a problem with that one myself)

i want 50-60 hp b/c i a few years back i had an 88 tecate 4 with a 300cc big bore kit done by sprock racing, with k&n, fmf fatty gold series with a fmf silencer. kx500 reeds and a high performance electrical/ignition system(i dont remember the name) the bike would fly but me being the dumb moron traded it for a stupid dirtbike.(i wasnt thinking) anyway i want something that would be faster than that as my next bike. i dont like going backwards, the next thing always has to be faster anyway thanks for the help so far.

Mod your stock reed cages instead of buying the high priced v-force. My friend dynoed his v-force then dynoed my modded stock on his bike and found no difference.
He is running 34pj's, CPI pipes, his porting, cool head race domes, stock crank/bore, and is turning 64hp. Don't trust all dynos though. Every one of them can read different. It should be used as a tuning tool, not a final power number.
