Default Is a K+N air filter really that much better?

Im going to get the pro flow kit. Should I go with the k+n or get the foam filter? Ive read that the foam provides better dirt blockage. Is this true?If I do get the k+n Ill get the outerwear also. Thanks.

I run a K&N on my mojave and a UNI on my 300EX, when I take the K&N filter off to clean it on the Mojave I can run my finger around the intake boot and scrape away dirt. When I take the UNI off my 300EX it's clean around the intake area. You see many people running K&N but after I've experienced with both I like foam filters better. JMO
