Default Banshee question

What would make a coil stop working??? Is it from getting wet, or too much vibration or what? My banshee is a 2000 model and the coil is dead. Also....does anyone have one they want to sell?

thanks

If I remember right Banshee coils loose ther resistance after a few years. You can find good used ones on E-Bay all day long.
It could be your CD Box or wiring going to the coil.

A friends '99 300ex had a coil short out. What makes you think its "dead"? Have you checked the resistance or what?

Xbox74, sorry but the MSD sucks compared to the Dyna. I had a friend that bought one and went back to stock. I bought my dyna and he was as impressed as I was. My dyna was only $280, works with stock parts, plugs directly into the stock harness, mounts in the stock location, and doesn't require a battery. The dyna has so many more adjusting capabilities. Itsupports two rpm window switches to turn on nitrous, a shift light, etc. A rev limiter and holeshot limiter are included also and they are more tuneable than MSD's.

Call East Coast Atv. 215-541-4985. They do salvage parts. They will be the closest to you and will probably have it. If not, they can tell you where to get it.
