Those of you wanting to slim down your chubby raptors ought to check Lonestar Racings sprocket and disc hubs. I mounted a wave rotor on the LSR brake hub and a titax aluminum sprocket on the LSR sprocket hub. The stock hubs with rotor and sprocket weigh a combined 7lbs 11oz according to my digital scale. The LSR hubs, wave rotor, and aluminum sprocket weighed in at 3lbs 11oz on the same scale. Not a bad weight loss. If you add an extended swingarm and aftermarket axle expect to gain about five pounds. At least these hubs help offset that weight gain. Did I mention how tough these hubs look? Duners will love these things. LSR claims these hubs are MX proof. You can get these hubs on ebay pretty cheap if you keep your eyes open.
Here are some other items that I have weighed recently on the raptor for those of you who are self conscious about your fat *** raptor.
Stock a arms=12lbs
Burgard a arms(+2's)=15lbs
stock swingarm with stock carrier=17lbs 12oz
Tucker Proarm Swingarm(+2 with twin row carrier)=18lbs 6oz
Stock axle only=11lbs
Durablue +4 axle=14lbs 6oz
Hope this is useful.
