OH S$$T Shotgun

1/8 mile 4.41 @ 170 MPH

I would have too remove my huevos and hang them on the rear grap bar before taking off. I would be squeezing the seat and fuel tank so hard they would pop out.

But what a ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!

14mins,
Are you wanting to stay with 4stroke engine? Is that the reason why you are chosing a street bike motor? Did you see the Raptor with the street bike engine in it at 4SWII? I believe there are some pics here on the forum somewhere.

Why not put one of those 100+ HP banshee engines in the raptor if you are not against 2 strokes depending on your answer above.

I think a 70-90 HP lightened Raptor would be a 100-130 HP street cycle engined (added weight over stock) Raptor up the hill. May not be as true on flat drags. JMO. Sparks sure kicked a$$ at 4SWII even with a heavier rider in my opinion.

GSX-R1000. 152 stock hp, 75lb/ft stock torque It seems like about half of all the GSX-R1000's made since '02 have been crashed by clowns that got in over their heads, you can probably pick up a motor at a salvage yard relatively cheap. It's liquid cooled, fuel injected, counterbalanced (without that it would be pretty unpleasant), and even without the benefit of ram air you'd probably get a 140-145hp and keep stock reliability. As far as performance potential, the GSX-R1000 is now elegible for AMA Superbike racing (they now allow 4 cylinder bikes up to 1000cc's), which means there's all sort of Factory and aftermarket performance stuff for it. Rumor has it that Team Yoshimura/Suzuki is getting about 200 horsepower from this motor, normally aspirated, and maintaining good reliablility.

I would say a suzuki GS1000 bored to 1500 with 44mm carbs. Thats puts out 250 HP on Pump Gas. You go 100 yards in 2 gears. It covers 60 feet in 1.3 seconds and you are pulling 2.7 Gs. Riding the wheelie bar all they way. Make one shift at 9000 and than the second at 11500
