I got 97 Banshee w/ stage 4 Trinty head, T5 exhaust, bored 20 over, welded crank, air filter, & stock carb. I run 13.6 @ 93mph in the quarter. But, my friend said he got the same setup except better porting on heads. He run 12.20 in the quarter. I'm confuse that a 1.4 second faster for ported and polished heads. Any comments, thanks.

93 mph or 115 mph, it doesnt matter, either way is gonna hurt like hell when you fall off!

I cant imagine that fast on a quad.

yeah...how many passes are you talking about?traction and rider performance make a bigger difference than porting.

i always thought that if you wanted to go 100 mph, you should be riding a snowmobile. that's just me though...

I'm not racing my Banshee on dirt, sand bar, or pasture which is very dangerous. I did my time & MPH on a drad strip. I was doing the driving on both bike and I'm an experience driver. I can't understand how my friend bike is faster than mine?????

I dont this he means the head is ported, he means the cylinder is ported. This could add 10 hp or more if done by a good shop. That is where his quicker time is coming from.
