Default cylinder question???

you should measure to make sure it isn't out of round and need a bore job-the cylindar will at least need a hone job to allow the new rings to seat properly....only a few bucks at a machine shop.

Default cylinder question???

the way we do it (with a ball hone) is to put the cyl in a vice at a 45 degree angle with a towel wrapped around it to keep from scratching the cyl. go in through the top because often times the ***** will get hung up in the transfers. Put oil in the cylinder and on the hone like a spray lubricate ect ect and hit it as close to a 45 as possible. Make sure your cross hatches are good and basically be carefull taking too much material out.
