I took mine to my Yamaha dealer for first service just to keep it under warranty. Besides changing the oil, they lubed all the moving joints, adjusted the valves, and changed the coolant. I think thats about all they did, cost?......$141.00....OUCH!!!!

Ok, just checking, thats what I was quoted too, But they want 180 for service an 30 for parts. Im going to have to give them the big FU on that one and do the oil myself, and let them do the rest, maybe Ill get out a little cheaper than 210.

adjust/lube chain
oil
grease

Do it all yourself, its a rip off at the dealer. You will become more familiar with your bike.

Dont worry about the coolant yet.

At 50 hrs, have the valves checked by the dealer if you dont feel comfortable doing it.

I would not wait 50 hrs. to check the valves. I checked mine at 5 hrs. and they were tight less than .003"on the intakes. Did raptor03 at about 20 hrs. and it had NO LASH at all.
