How much would you pay for 60hp? 70? for raptor

I would and will pay 1435 tomorrow. Talked to Bob this afternoon, seems to be a great guy, easy to talk to unlike TRINITY. 1435 plus the clutches i have already replaced, the transmission I updated, and over 3 grand in other various things. Basically, all of the money I make that doesn't go to a bill goes to the quad.

$100 off? HAHAHAHA, It's a lot more than you think it will cost, trust me. been there, done that. You have to spend about at least $1000. when you add in everything like jets, gaskets, seals, clutch components, bore/hone the cylinder, piston, cam, then you have to decide if you want to stay with stock valves, or go to Ferria ($250). then do you want enlarged valves ($300)? Then with all that extra horsepower, you'll need an extended swingarm, and with that, you'll need new tires, and while your at it you might as well get a new axle....... I could go on forever. lol
But really, for just motor, figure if your pulling the motor, and doing the work. if not, add the cost of the labor. plus a piston, cam, all gaskets and seals, bore/hone or possibly re-sleeve, going big bore or hi-comp? Might want to invest in a carillo rod. then port/polish, valves, springs, etc. more than you thought, right?

1435 is assuming you will assemble it yourself
12-1 piston 150
ferra stainless valves back cut 250
cam 130
springs 160
50 seals
50 gaskets
porting 400
45 shipping, his fee's for parts sent to him, which is understandable since parts are so cheap
85 for machine time on head
35 for shipping to get it all back
add 200 if you want the heat coatings
all this with proper clutches, GYTR's untill better is found, a good airbox setup, and an aftermarket exhaust, should be in the 60's

I'm conufsed here. So your paying him for the parts that are getting sent to you? He's not putting the valves in or the piston and etc? His only labor for you is porting the head? Does Curtis Sparks do it this was also or is the Sparks kit including labor for assembling the engine?

they put the new valves and springs in ready to bolt up you just send head and cylinder
i insured mine for 1200 and it only cost 14 bucks cost well oveer 100 to send motor
plus 100 more to get it back not including the teardown and reassemble
