How much would you pay for 60hp? 70? for raptor

Buttfungus, the banshee is never fast enough. Funny thing is I was talking to my good friend the other night and that was exactly what he said, its fast enough.
There is no such thing. Well, I think if I were doing about 75 up sand mtn utah that might be a little on the scarry side. So I guess there is fast enough at some point. I will let you know if I ever reach that point.
Sorry to have invaded a raptor post.

Dabeechman when you say you can build a 90hp Banshee for 800$$$ i find this pretty intriguing...Would you please elaborate because i dont see how you could pull this off but i am not the most educated here so...Who knows???

a stock bore 350 banshee ported and put on methanol can hit 90hp. It is very possible and all the big name builders do it. Porting doesnt cost anything if you know what your doing. The cost comes in welding the crank, pipes, carbs and intakes.

pipes-350 (CPI), i do the porting, run 34PJ's (can use trx carbs, find them on ebay for 40 bucks) converted to meth-100 bucks, modified stock cages, and cut your head. It costs ME 800 bucks give or take to make 90 horses. You'd be into it for 1200-2000 depends on how well you did it.

Thats fine by me but you have to add to all of this;
1.An adjustable timing plate
2.Billet clutch basket
3.Extreme duty clutch kit
4.New intakes to accomodate the bigger carbs
5.New fuel lines
None of the above is extremely expensive but it all adds up
And that is taking into account that you already have aftermarket pistons to deal with all this power (the stock cast ones wont do the job)... I am sure that i forgot a few items also.

Why do you need an adjustable timing plate? The stock plate can be modified to +7 degrees. That is fine for a 350. You are correct cast pistons suck. I did forget to mention that. That is my fault. A billet basket is NOT needed to withstand 90 horses. Either is an extreme duty clutch. That is why i said 1200-2000 depending on how well you want it built. Why do you need fuel line? Only reason would be if your running fuel pumps, which you wouldnt need unless you were running olds or sand mountain. A hole 1.50 isnt jack anyways. And the intake boots will cost you a few bucks but not a sustantial amount. The stock reeds are fine aswell, just modified works as well as anything out there

ive heard of an excuse of two, but air takes the cake..he should now be the King
of excuses...wasnt he advertising 75 hp and 122 on the bottle before fsw??
what happened to that in his signature?? that twin row bearing carrier really
robs the power...i could have never thought of that one..long live the king

Sure i respect that, ill get you some dyno sheets soon. As far as time slips goes our methanol honda runs 4.4's and our gas 370 runs 4.8's. No slips on our banshee yet. Hopefully a 4.3!
