For me, in this order,

1972 Honda ATC90
1984 Honda ATC200S
1986 Honda 200X
2000 Yamaha Blaster
1992 Suzuki LT250R

This all started back in 2000, not 1972!

We had several machines on the farm, in this order starting in 1987:

'86 Honda 200sx-- back when four wheels seemed excessive. My dad set out to test how much more stable four wheels were than three and rolled it within 24 hours of it's arrival. Instant broken plastic. For the first year or so I had to shift it by hand because I was too young and my foot was too weak. Everything is worn out now, but it still runs fine.

'87 Honda FatCat-- the Cadillac of mud running bikes. I pretty well single handedly wore this one out, after I was big enough to foot shift.

'87 Yamaha Big Wheel 200-- not as good as the Fatcat, but better for jumping. Primarily my Dad's transportation on the farm, but I got plenty of seat time on it too. I also got to fix that @#$% short front chain.

'94? Yamaha Timberwolf-- first year they were built. Shaft drive was a welcome change for a daily driver.

'98 Honda 300-- Wised up and got away from the Yammies.

'01 DS650-- all mine, bought used in '02, and ONLY used for fun. I also bought my first helmet after getting the DS, at age 20. Probably should have done that earlier.

That was fun. I could tell stories for hours about the things we did.

lets see, i got my first bike, a 1972 honda twin 175 dual sport with the nobbies for $150 back when i was 10 i think, had that for a while, then got a free honda 360 road bike, had it about a month then gave it away. After that i didnt have anything for a while. Then i got my 92 timberwolf for free(my uncles second hand quad) which wasnt too good for jumping and unded up braking the frame. I finally then got into more sporty bikes with the arival of an 86 tecate 3 which i got for$150(yeah thats right) plus a trade of the timberwolf. Then i bought my 2000 ex and thats what i ride today

My first bike was an atc 110. I thought that thing the toughest and fastest thing around. I loved putting that bike in the low side and going up those killer hills, so thought they were! Great memories.
