Fellas, I think all 14mins is trying to say is that trinity seemd to have gotten bit by the mass production bug. I do believe that if one person builds a motor and doesn't have 15 more motors on the shelf to waiting to be built that the 700$ motor will have detailed attention( LOCTITE). I am not dissing anyones shop here at all( my quad is piped and jetted and that is it) One person pays more attentyion to there work then having 5 people building motors under one name. But I do ahve one complaint against Craycraft, I sent them and Email asking about the 686 and never got a reply. I don't know I fit has to do with my affiliation to the COMPOUND or what, but I am impressed with Marks quad, I am also impressed with velociTYraptors quad. Just my two cents. You ever notice how nascar teams have ONE engine builder, Hint hint.

 

raptorvolicti- I am sorry Bob missed your email. In his defense his computer took a major dump and he had to buy a new computer a few weeks back. He spent a lot of time trying to get his stuff off the old computer. Stuff happens and i guarantee that being in the compound had nothing to do with it. I talk to Jay on the phone a few times a week and i know that bob does also. Send me a pm i will give you bobs phone number or pm him. It was not done on purpose i assure you. Anyone that has met Bob knows that. Be patient as he does all the mbrp site by himself. He is first rate.

 

OK it looks like airraptor and 14mins need to find a place and race heads up NHRA 1/8 mile track. No hills, No whoops, No excuses! Run a 5/10th's pro tree, if you red light you loose even before the race begins.

My money will be on 14mins, because I raced him 3 times on a track and he has a mean 60ft times. You see airraptor it does not matter who has the horsepower it is who leaves the line first without red lighting.

I think I have found a way for 14mins to gain another 4 to 6 horsepower anyway. But it does not matter!

I think since i have a smaller engine and more HP he has to come to me. Red Line Raceway would be nice. I made the trip to Glamis and Nebraska

You lost me there I bought and paid for 63HP wether my quad was there or not he could not get 66HP out of what parts he sent me.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] You are right it is Raptor VS DS. Now the raptors have to have the HP promised to go pig hunting. Hard to kill pigs with 44HP they will waller right past you with that. Can't kill a pig with a pea shooter.

 

Ahhh yes 14mins is thinking outside the box now. The comment that you made about adapting what works on cars over to quads caught my eye.

Heres one for you to ponder over do you think a small block chevy piston will fit in a Raptor???
