I have a 96 banshee that I've owned since '97.It is still stock and never been rebuilt.It is due(I know every 250 Hours).But my question is this the guy who sold it to me told me to run 50:1 mixture.I use pump gas and Maxima super M.Is this alright because every thing I read on here is guys running 32-40:1?

 

It depends on the oil manufacturer. Go with what they suggest.

I run yamalube at 32:1.

I run 32:1 in my YZ with yamalube, but my friend nick runs 50:1 with AMS-OIL in his shee, but if he has yamalube, he usually runs aorund 32:1 too

 

Personally, I like Spectro SX at 32:1. One bottle to 4 gallons of gas.

 

As IamChad2k5 said, I run 50-1 Ams-oil. I like it cause the gallon seems to last forever and its just as much as yamalube..

I ran yamalube 32:1 and had fouling problems , now i run amsoil synthetic at 40:1 never fouls a plug..
