Default another raptor carb boot question

Turbo33 - Isn't all the UPP stuff made of polyurethane or urethane? How can you gold plate stretchy or flexible stuff? Or are the UPP boots made of billet Aluminum?

LOL

I bet your tooth brush is gold plated, isn't it?

I'll be waiting to hear about the UPP set up. It is plastic right? If its not I know I will be ordering some soon!!!!!

I have some crazy glue on my...... well I'm not going to say, but its an important part. It held, and has kept on holding for a LONG time now. I keep a close eye on it and as soon as it goes I'll get a new one, but untill then.

Jump too 27.5's on the pilots and up your idle speed....back the idle circuit screws out (counterclockwise) about a half turn. Problem solved.

I met a guy at LA Dunes that used hose clamps. The next time they tried to pop off they split the boots.

I will agree with garyc660r, I have the same set-up as that and never had a single problem with my carb boots. I have done a lot of trail and woods riding not one problem!
