LOL. I always wonder where people think the Raptor is not a goods woods quad. It's the bomb in the woods. Why do you think its less wide than other quads? The raptor was designed for trails and woods and does well in all other areas of riding as well. Don't even go there with the tippy thing, if you do then, you don't know how to ride.

i think the raptor is tippy..and so dont 99% of the normal people..the raptor dont handle half as good as the z400 does..maybe you never rode a z400 ..but i used to have a raptor and i know the z handles WAY better...as far as ***** the raptor has the z beat...but for the woods ..relibality and handing ..will get you the the end first....

get better shocks it lowers it and handles much better

 

Just dial in the stock shocks and it handles way better than before. I'll never trade down, just learn to use what I have to the best of its abilities.

If your riding the woods trails I ride you won't have a chance to get there first. I'll take you on the start and you won't have room to pass me cause the trails are so tight. When theres a bit of a strait I'll pull away some more, then some more until you are no where in sight. No Bashing, seems I've heard that before. LMAO

I agree with 'skin, and i ride primarily woods, and havent seen a yeller or green beat me yet. am happy with rap [ mines set up just for woods] and i have a blaster as a play quad....and its my money.

Nope, wouldn't trade for a pair of Z400s. One of my riding buddies has a Z400, another has a 440EX, and the third has a Banshee. Of the 3, only the Banshee gives me trouble. The Z400 rider can throw that thing around pretty well but when the hammer drops, the Raptor and the Banshee are the only ones fighting for first.
