how well do you think auto paint would hold up on a swingarm thats used mostly in the sand?

 

I dont think it would do too bad, but if you want it to say on there and last and look good I would have it powder coated, I heard that holds up alot better than paint.

 

powder coat, anodize, or use Por15 paint.

 

im going to paint alot of random parts on my raptor, how much is powder coating??? and what is this por15 shiz?

 

http://www.por15.com/ is some tuff **** shiznit. my buddy painted his axle black using a dam brush and it looks powder coated. no chips after 3 dune trips and 2 desert trail rides. I am going to go over my trailer with it.

 

I just checked out the por15 site and I want to polish my douglas rims, clean with the metal prep, then clear coat!!!! no more polishing after every dune trip!!!!!!

 

I'll second Blue on the por15 stuff. I know a guy who painted his frame on a T bucket, with a brush, and it looks GREAT. Really tuff stuff too. This same Tbucket is really low so I'm sure it gets hiy with a bunch of rocks, no chips yet.

 

if tho por15 doesnt have the color your looking for i would powder coat the peices
