Banshees will usually start easily, try some new plugs...When you bought the quad did you change anything...is it jetted for your altitude? Does it have a tether kill switch?

Give us a list of modifications to the machine, and anythings done recently.

Did it run when you bought it??

You are saying it is getting fuel and spark, you need compression also.

Check all of these things, unplug the tors box under the fuel tank and see if that helps also.

It could be any number of things, but check fuel, spark and compression first. What do the spark plugs look like??

We need more info to try and help you.

..good point I have checked all the basics and Im sure the Gas is on, its the same gas than it ran on at the dealers.

When I kick it over it does not fire at all , if I give it some gas it sounda deeper as i turn it over. The compression seems
fine...if it was flooded would the plugs be fueled up?,they are dry?

tks for helping

Tors= throttle override system, or something to that effect. On the left side of the quad under the gas tank is a black box, or might be grey. Anyway if you unplug that it turns off the tors system. But that may not be your problem.

With Tors you can usually still start the quad. Have you checked all the basics like to see if the filter is clean, the carbs are getting fuel, the plugs are getting spark and so forth.

Is the quad used, or new?? Was it jetted for the pipes?? What air filter setup are you running?? Do you know what jetting is in there now??

Is the tube between the carbs in place??

My banshee can sit for months, but if I kick it hard with the choke on about 5-10 times, then stop for a few minutes come back and kick it about 3 times it will start right up.

It is hard to diagnose a quad over the computer so any info you can give will help us out. Also, have you tried pull starting it??

The quad is about a year old. It is my undestanding that all the necessary mods to work
with the pipes have been done and I have seen the bike run so Im confident that it should work.

I dont know what jetting I have. There is a piece of tube betwen the two carbs and what look likes metal can?

If it is badly flooded what should I do? I will try pulling it , I have kicked it over 200 times at least and am hurting!!!

Are there any safety sensors on it which could be playing up??

tks
