King Raptor,

I would like to know the new failure you are speaking of. What broke and how? What was this being used in? Is it truly a camshaft failure? What are you basing your conclusion on? What is the number and letters on the end of the cam? I haven't heard of anything but pin failures to date or when someone overtorques the cam sprocket bolts and breaks the cam sprocket mount tabs. Please respond ASAP.

Tony

hey tony I got a quick question, on my cam I set the lash to your recommendations and I understand the heat expansion but, It still ticks when its hot. Just like when its cold. And I have checked the clearence a lot and they are fine, but maybe should I try to have them tighter??? I just dont want to burn the valve to. BTW I got the Stage 1

CT,
Not a problem to tighten .001", that will quiet the noise some. It will NEVER be as quiet as stock though, the lobes profiles are such that it won't allow it.

Ok thanks. I gotta say though this cam is sweet, went to glamis yesterday and was the king until I left, did crappy through the whoops but in the top end.... people were getting mad, it was great.
