Well, somebody is watching Nascar because to advertise on our local FOX station is outrageous for a lousy 30 second spot. We have to pay through the nose to get even on the waiting list. So, somebody is benefiting and isn't me...................yet. lol

Don't get me wrong, we are avid Nascar fans, I know people watch it. If fact, come this spring/summer, unless you have an ad agency with pull and can reserve a spot now, there will be no openings for commercials. Around the Detroit area ads go for around $8,000.00 or more per spot. In our area it is around $3,000.00 or so a spot. This is proof there is an enormous following. I think it is more popular than professional football.

 

I agree RhondaV, Whats the deel with Nascar on pay per view? Is that still just a rumer?

you haven't been to a race until you come to talladega.been to both races for the past few years,just an awesome time.

I think they will be paying more for commercials in the next couple of year than they do for the SuperBowl

Whitebread, We go to the one in the fall. Great time but I want to see a short track race like Bristol.
