How bad have you got it?
jcsact, they have a ways to go before they pay the prices they pay for a 30 sec spot in the superbowl. $8000 is a far cry from 1 million +.

I live not even 5 miles from the California speedway. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Had season tickets for a couple years. My wife drops us off at the entrance and we walk into the nearby neighborhood to get picked up after the race. I'm home in 10-15 minutes after race ends. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

REDNECK RACING!!!
I don't care for it at ALL, but have been to a few races and it alot more in person!
My Company(I work for) has a Bush car that Joe Nemawreck drives, but I still can't get into it. sorry.
Also, I know this will get you redneck boys rialed up! Why does everyone have the #3 on the window??? Dale Earnhart die Tragicly while CHEATING!!!
If he wouldn't have been "blocking" he would still be alive.
Didn't mean to offend, but c'mon people!! we lost REAL hero's in the Space shuttle, but no one has a NASA sticker on the truck,van,wheelchair, etc.

One thing is for sure. The last few laps of a Nascar race when your car (18 car for me) is winning or trying to pass for a win, can be as exciting as watching the Superbowl to me. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Unless the Redskins are in the Superbowl but thats not gonna happen anytime soon. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

Some fans had numbers on their windows, wheelchairs, etc before the accident that took his death. Frankly, I don't see a whole lot of people with American flags flying anymore or remembering our military that is being sent over to fight for us. We are indeed in a national crisis. As we speak, smallpox vacinations are being distributed to government employees and health care workers. They are being schooled at this moment how to deal with the virus as well as how to care for the rest of, God for bid, we contract do to some terrorist activity. Smallpox can live in the air for 48 hours before detected. It is one thousand time worse than chicken pox. If you have ever had chicken pox you know what I mean. So, yes there are other things we should be thinking about but, that is the beauty of America our freedom to do, say, go anywere we want because it is our right. Can we sit around and worry and fret no we can not because then they win. So, biggerisbetter, you are right in your own way but don't knock those who like to get lost in fantasyland once in awhile and forget the real world as I am sure you like to do as well. So God Bless America or what will be left of it.

I deserved that, but I know you agree that if people would get as excited above real life issues as they do about Roundy Round racing, the world would be a better place!
Its good to route for your favorite Driver/car, If that what gets you excited, I am the same way when it comes to College Football. But it kinda makes me sick to see all the #3's come out after the man died, It seems that people jumped on the Mans "death Bandwagon"! and now route for JUNIOR cause his daddy died and made him famous. Oh well, Its just racing.
