Jraptor, I guess for starters you shold make sure your mains are correct. To me 300 seems a tad low but it's hard to say since every machine is a little different.

If you bog after about 1/4 throttle then you are rich on the needle and if it sort of hesitates then kicks in then you are lean on the needle. Rich and lean can seem almost the same but try to determine if it is bogging or hesitating. To lean the needle you drop the neele/raise the clip and the opposite to richen the needle mixture. It' not hard to do if you follow this simple trick. The pain about moving the needle is getting the spring back on while you put the slide back together. Do it this way: When you put it back together put the needle in, put the throttle cable in then screw down the throttle cable retainer. When that's all done you will then "screw" the spring on - take the end of the spring and slide it onto the throttle cable and keept twisting the spring until it screws itself all the way on. Much easier.

Good luck.
