Banshee Chain Adjustment?!?
#2
There are two bolts that hold the axle carrier to the swingarm that need to be loosened. Next you have to loosen the lock nuts on the adjuster bolts... the two that face the rear... next you turn them until the proper amount of slack is in the chain and tighen the lock nuts down. Tighten the bolts that hold the axle carrier. I have only adjusted my chain once. It was pretty loose but since then it hasn't stretched. I need a new chain and sprocket set soon though.

I'd strongly suggest that you invest in a Clymer's manual. I believe you can order one here at ATV Connection's home page.
Just a couple of things to add to DunePilot858's explanation..be sure to have the reference marks on each adjuster in the same position to insure alignment of the chain with each sprocket. Also do not tighten the chain beyond 1 1/4 to 1/1/2" deflection, measured from a midpoint between the two sprockets . Too tight results in abnormal wear on chain, sprockets, & transmission.
