Default It's a sad day...

I BLEW MY MOTOR! My blaster isn't even a year yet. Figured I'd get it out today. Just a little ridin. It was a 24 degrees out. I got it out. Half-choke got it fairly warmed. So I put the choke in, figured it was alright. So I started openin her up. Did a couple donuts. No big deal (there's been a rattling noise in my head for a couple weeks now. I didn't think anything of it). Got her on a big patch of ice, reved her up and started to spin when I heard this CLANK. Then I just stopped. I was like no big deal, I killed. WRONG! Seized her up big time.

Got her back in the garage. Got the head and cylinder off. It grenaded the piston. One whole side just broke off. P**sed me off so bad.

Now I'm lookin at a CT 240 Big Bore Kit. Haven't really heard anything about them. If it really puts out what they claim, I'll pay the 1000$. Just wanted to share my loss. And yet at the same time a kind of gain.

I just rebuilt a balster that did the same thing, but the intake side that broke off went through the buttom of the case. Big hole.

yamaha4life, have you ever seen the white blaster at LA Dunes, fast one maybe a +six swingarm and drag pipe?
