Making the Raptor Street Legal In CA
#1
Has anyone looked into doing this? I was thinking of trying it if Kalifornia will allow it. I know the requirements would be like a street legal motorcycle but is it allowed????
Ready to get started now.

I know you can do it in other states..but Cali. is different. I looked into it and found the reason they can't be allowed on the streets is the high center of gravity. Motorcycles are built with low center and can be leaned to turn. Quads are like "SUV's", according to the person I spoke with. Sharp turns will cause the quad operator to lose control on asphalt and flip. I said, " motorcycles, if turned sharp will fall and flip also". Kinda left him searching for words. Bottom line.....can't be made street legal.

Arizona...as long as quad is equipped with turn signals and tires for pavement. I see one every once in a while in Lake Havasu. Of course, most quads already have headlights and brakelights.
