I still dont have a cam and am thinking about a helmet cam how much do these cost and how do they work?? can you go ride then put vids on here with it?

Remember that your camcorder must have A/V inputs to use a helmet cam - many don't have this feature.

 

I know nothing when it comes to cameras, wyo what do I need for a helmet cam and where can I get it ohh and I am pretty broke

 

wyo, would it be cheaper to buy a camera(not video cam)?? what would I need for one of those?? will it work with a sony vaio?

 

The internet is a good place to some research. I have one and it is great. My kid likes to jump and the movies we get you wont get with a camera or tring to stop and shoot with a camcorder. Priceless

 

I amde an aluminum bracket that mounts to the helmett with the visor mounts and is adjustable. My Sony Handicam mounts to the bracket with the tripod mount, along with a couple zip-ties for added security, and works great. Just gotta be careful of tree limbs! Better suited for dunes, but you don't wanna wear it all day. Just for like an hour during a tour of a place for fun viewing in the future.

Iv'e seen guys wearing camcorders on there helmets. I have a camera(1/2"dia x 3"L) with audio that plugs into my camcorder that we put in a fanny pack. It works great when my kid is jumping with it on.
