Yamaha Grizzly 660 Or Kawasaki Prairie 650?
I considered the 650 prairie too but ended up getting the Grizzly instead. I know that the 650 twin would have been a great engine to have. After checking out the kawi forum I noticed that the belt was going to be a potential problem. I don't feel that I should have to spend money on belts, springs and special tools to remove shims to adjust the belt deflection. The belt system on the Yamaha is very reliable and you seldom hear of anybody with belt problems. If your going to spend close to $7000.00 for a toy I can't see having to put up with a belt problem. I know the prairie is a good machine but this alone was enough to sway me to the grizz.

Yamaha Grizzly 660 Or Kawasaki Prairie 650?
Well, so far I've been on two weekend rides aboard the new Prairie and let me tell you...I have zero buyer's remorse!. This thing is truly awesome! It's got unbelievable power and quickness for a 600 pound machine, it handles like a much smaller quad, it loves the deep water, it's super comfy, and super smooth! I had no idea 4X4 quads could be this much fun. Color me very impressed and extremely happy with my purchase!
I have no doubt that the Grizzly is a fine machine as well. This one just works the best for me. Thanks again guys!
