K&N filter mount, no air box
Who makes the flnge to mount the K&N pro design filter to the carb boots without useing the air box? I remember seeing somthing along these lines before. It was an aluminum flange that mounted to the frame and the boots clamped to one side and the K&N filter mounted to the other side. TIA

Thanks,
Doesn't exactly explain how it mounts up without the air box. For 2 bills it's not worth it to me to experiment. I can modify the air box by cutting away everything except the front where the filter mounts and make a bracket to attch it to the frame but I don't want to destroy my air box incase I don't like it. Wish I knew someone that worked in a CNC type factory. Maybe i'll buy an old airbox off ebay and cut it up and try this out.

i have done what you are asking about with the pro design system. cut all the airbox off except where the billett piece was bolted on and left enough of the box on the front just to bolt it to the frame, looks pretty sweet!!!
