Default Raptor Q's

i just bought an 02 raptor and had a few questions about it. First of all i was wondering if i got a jet kit for it, will it make the carb to where it has to be tuned and screwed with all the time? Also, in my opinion on the low end the raptor is a little high geared. Is there much that can be done about that such as different sprokets and where could i find some info on them. Thanks in advance for any help

About the jet kits, no you wont have to screw with them but once when you install it (unless you do it wrong but if you follow the directions it's pretty easy) I have one on mine and got it right the first time and never had to adjust it once after that. About the gears, I have an '01 tranny so I can't answer your gearing question cause there different, but yes you can change the sprockets to adjust it to where you like the gearing. There is lots of posts about '02 tranny gearing on this forum just use the search. Good luck!

Ditto's to what bigbubba said. I put a 43 tooth rear sprocket on mine. It fit with the stock chain and just barely cleared my PRM skidplate. Sun Star sprocket $28. You should be able to order one from any shop.
