IS A JET KIT SOMETHING THAT CAN BE DONE AT HOME OR BY A PROFESSIONAL? I HAVE SOME SMALL MOTOR EXP.

 

I added a Supertrapp IDS2 Tuneable muffler, K&N filter and Jet kit -
I installed the muff and K&N, and took it to a shop to install the jet -
Hi-Lifter sold me the "powerup package" along with jetting instructions
took it to the shop and paid $45 to re-jet

... and the big bear will NEVER win a speed race, but an ENDURANCE race,
there is no better choice -
I have an estimated 6,000 miles on my 2000 big bear
yep - 6,000 miles (more like 7000 but dont want to exaggerate)
I ride at least 250 miles per month and have owned it since new early 2000
250 miles x 10 months = 2500 / year x 3 years .....
