Put a new plug in then see what it looks like after about 5 minutes of riding.

Did you do the work yourself? Did the engine get pulled from the frame?

 

YES i did the work myself........NO the engine was not removed from the frame...

 

So....what should i do?

plug is black.... Hmm im mostly experienced in 4 strokes, but sounds rich to me. Maybe your not burning off the oil or something. You mixed the gas with the right ratio right?

how does it rev? is it smooth? is the float stuck in the carb? Did you change *anything* in the carb? has it been apart for an extended time? Are the reeds ok?

 

Don't mean to sound like a smarta$$, but are you sure you put the piston in right?

have you tried a new plug?

What oil are you running?

 

You say that it smokes to much, But is that in comparison to how much it used to smoke? Did you happen to replace the plug when you rebuit it?

Are you using the self mixing? I have seen on older blasters that the self mixing system gets unreliable. If the motor has just been rebuilt I would check and make sure the self mixing is working accurately. It could just be dumping to much oil in. Check and see if it is reliable. What kind of two stroke oil are you using?
